I created a 16×16 poster that reflected the subject of fear and the fragile state of memories. I chose circles as an element to represent the cyclical nature of memories as they loop through the mind of someone with Alzheimer’s. I chose the phrase “The Fear Of Forgetting” as I felt it best represented the subject in a catchy and concise manner. I applied different textures and distortions throughout the typography to reflect the emotions of fear in regards to dementia. This poster serves as a reminder to not take your mind for granted.
